Lisa is a resident of Victoria who enjoys creating mixed media wall hangings.
She frequently uses found objects such as natural tree limbs or bark she has collected from the ground. Most of the paper she uses in her work are hand made by Lisa or are natural banana leaf sheets.

Moon Over Boxami
This piece is 4 feet x 4 feet and is mounted on a wall.
It consists of various papers, hanging rope with beads, a horizontal tree limb bark shaving, and a small 6” x 3” mounted box which opens to reveal a smaller diorama inside.
Lisa titled this piece “Moon Over Boxami” because it has a red moon with a tree branch separating it from the box below. Lisa had just seen a film called “Moon Over Miami,” so the title seemed fitting.

All segments are handmade papers, and hand-cut shapes, with 2 acupuncture needles featured...she really was my girlfriend back in 1997-8.
